Dr. Francis Ali-Osman Discusses Future of Cancer Treatment

On September 16, 2016, Dr. Francis Ali-Osman was asked to speak at the Hancock Symposium at Westminster College on the state of cancer research and treatment. During his talk, Dr. Ali-Ozman corroborates research that supports low-dose Metronomic Delivery of chemotherapeutic agents may be the future trend offering patients a better cure for cancer.

Dr. Ali-Ozman is the co-director of the Experimental Therapeutics Program at the Duke Cancer Institute and professor of Neuro-Oncology Research at Duke University. Dr. Ali-Osman is a vital member of the university’s cancer research team. He is a world leader in the field of experimental oncology, cancer therapeutics, pharmacology, and cancer-drug resistance, Dr. Ali-Osman’s research focuses on the development of highly targeted, “smart” anticancer drugs to battle tumors. He will deliver a Special Hancock Lecture on Neuroscience.
